2026 Concours Award Winners
Our 25th Anniversary Event!
This year's trophies were custom-made S14 Air Intake Plenum trophies conceived and created by James Liu. We always custom-make trophies for SIGFest, and refuse to award something off the shelf or traditional - and this year James (with the design assistance of Dean Kyriannas and a contribution by VSR1) created these amazing mementos. It really, truly is a difficult task to pick winners for trophies at this event, so I feel a bit sorry for our judges each year. The collective knowledge of the judges / enthusiasts (Dave Flogaus, Emil Curko and Charles Lennon) made selecting the winners a lengthy task, as they poured over the incredible examples. The trophy categories and winners were as follows:
SIG HALL OF FAME AWARD: David Haueter
The SIG Hall Of Fame Award is a new award for 2026. It is intended to recognize and honor a member of the BMW E30 M3 community that has made significant contributions to local, regional, national enthusiasts and or fellow members. This year we were proud to award the SIG Hall Of Fame Award to David Haueter. David is a renowned automotive journalist and photographer, and has directed his many talents toward the promotion, documentation and preservation of car culture events, and the history that inspired them. Thanks for all you do to support the BMW community, David, and congratulation on the award!
BEST ORIGINAL E30 M3 AWARD: Adam Roy
1990 Brilliantrot E30 M3.
They say that the only thing that is constant is change. The Best Original E30 M3 Award goes to the E30 M3 that has refused to change and was left as BMW intended. There were not very many completely stock E30 M3's around, so our judges only had a few to choose from. This year's Best Original E30 M3 belongs to: Adam Roy and his 1990 Brilliantrot E30 M3.
BEST MODIFIED E30 M3 AWARD: Jose E. Rodriguez
Warsteiner DTM Tribute.
Forget original paint, low miles, and restorations for a moment- Best Modified goes to the E30 ///M3 that is its owner's canvas. Now that E30 M3's are considered collectible classics, few people are building, modifying and racing them. There are a few who do not care about the market or resale value, since they will never sell their car. We feel that Jose Rodriguez's Warsteiner tribute car is worthy of this award because of the time, dedication, and creativity that has obviously been put into this masterpiece.
ROAD WARRIOR AWARD: Sean Troy
1988 Alpineweiss E30 M3.
E30 ///M3's are meant to be used and enjoyed. The Road Warrior Award goes to the E30 ///M3 that has been there and done that. We're proud to present The Road Warrior Award to Sean Troy and his 1988 Alpineweiss E30 M3.
SIGMEISTER'S CHOICE AWARD: Rubin Frias
Hartge Tribute E30 M3.
Sometimes you love something, but you can't quite figure out why. We don't need no stinkin' reason to give this trophy. This is for the SIGMeister's to debate, and award... We are proud to award the SIGMeister's Choice Award to Rubin Frias and his wild Hartge E30 M3.
BEST OF SHOW AWARD: Brian Green
1990 Brilliantrot E30 M3.
All E30 M3's are amazing, but Best Of Show goes to the car that the judges unanimously agree stands out and is a cut above the rest. We are pleased to award Best Of Show to Brian Green and his gorgeous 1990 Brilliantrot E30 M3.
After the awards were presented, we then raffled-off some prizes, donated and funded by our generous sponsors, including a BMW Bicycle, a baby BMW Ride-On Car, Bose Products, GiftCards, BMW Luggage, Scale Models, Auto Body Care, Human Body Care, Books, tools and E30 M3 Parts.
